Sasa Experience and Haul #1

I've always been eyeing the products from Sasa but I can never justify paying for shipping. Maybe I'm just frugal, but I just don't want to fork out money that I can be spending on something else.. like food! Muahaha...

So this is my first purchase from Sasa. For those that don't know what Sasa is, it's basically an Asian beauty store (much like Sephora), located all over Asia. They're very popular in Asia and ships internationally. It's very easy to order from their website and is in English. They have SO many products to offer, I don't even know where to begin.. I wish it were a tad more organized, but that's fine :)

Since this was my first time purchasing products from Asia online, I didn't know what to expect. I looked all over and couldn't find what people's experience were step-by-step. So here's my experience in short, from beginning to ending: I hope it's useful to you Sasa-Virgins!

06/10 @4:01PM- After choosing and paying for my items through Paypal, I immediately got an invoice confirmation through email.
06/11 @1:11AM- I received an email saying that my order "is currently being processed or packing for shipment".
06/13 @5:04AM- I received another email: "DISPATCH NOTIFICATION (Order deliver outside Hong Kong)". Along with the email, they gave a tracking number and the website to track your order from. I tried tracking my order but I couldn't track it! This was where I started to get worried because I didn't know where my package was! I contacted Sasa through their website, and just got an automated response.
06/14 @9:12PM- After waiting for an email response, I then decided to contact them through the email they said to contact if you had any questions (it was provided in the Dispatch Notification email). I figured what would be the difference if I emailed them through the website or the email? WRONG! I was wronggg!!!
06/15 @2:31AM- I received an email response (FINALLY!!) from when I emailed them via email. I asked why I wasn't able to track my package, and they basically said that since the package was being shipped internationally, it would take longer for the system to process. So at this time, I was happy they clarified this, I only wish they would have stated that to begin with.
06/18- I was finally able to track my package, by this time, it had already been shipped and UPSP had already received notification of it. By this time, I was able to track it through the UPSP website.
06/25- I received my package today and yes, I had to sign for it since it is a registered mail.

It came in a white box with a lot of those white foams. Each item was individually bubbled wrapped and so everything was secure. Nothing came broken. Since my items were shipped internationally, they said that I would received my package in 14-21 days, and this is with regular and not expedited shipping. My items came within 15 days in perfect condition. :)

Pros:
- They accept PAYPAL!!
- Affordable prices
- Thousands and thousands of Asian beauty products at an affordable price. If I were to buy the same products here in So Cal, I would have to pay double the price.
- They also carry high-end products
- Great customer service. I was impressed that they were able to answer my questions in a timely matter ESPECIALLY in perfect grammatically correct English! None of that Chinglish crap. Another plus is to consider is that they're on a totally different time zone than I am, so to receive a response quickly is impressive!
- Nothing was expired, in fact, all the products won't expire until the year 2014.

Cons:
- Since Sasa is located in Asia, shipping does take a while. But that's expected, right?

Based on this first experience, I would totally repurchase from them! Okay so that was my experience~ Now onto my purchases!! I have wayyy too much makeup and  so I decided to just try out skincare products :)
